UC's Arts and Creative Industries courses give you the freedom to follow what interests you, from creative writing, acting, digital media, fashion, film production, game development, music to visual arts.

Selected Creative Industries degrees are available at a range of locations across Australia, giving you more flexibility in where you study. Depending on your course, you may be able to study with one of UC’s delivery partners while gaining the same practical, industry connected learning experience.

Bachelor of Creative Industries

UC's creative industries courses are industry connected and developed in response to real-world demand, preparing you for specialist and leadership opportunities across the sector. Pursue your passion and study acting and performance, fashion, game development, music, production or visual arts. 

Choose from flexible study options for undergraduate courses at a range of locations, with fully online postgraduate courses available in creative industries, marketing and design.

Our learning spaces

Heritage and Conservation Lab

Our purpose built conservation lab is equipped with the tools and machines needed to analyse, restore and prepare heritage artefacts. 

Film Studio

Our TV studio is used for training in a wide variety of production scenarios, with a focus on film and digital media production.

Media Resource Centre

Access professional, industry-grade equipment through UC's Media Resource Centre, with cameras, lighting, audio gear and motion capture technology available to borrow.

Portfolio Entry

Apply to an Arts or Creative Industries course at UC without an ATAR or standard selection rank.

If you’re passionate about Arts, Communication and Media, Design, Creative Industries, Digital Design or the Built Environment, your creative work could help you gain entry. Submit a portfolio that showcases your skills, ideas and experience to apply for undergraduate study with UC’s Faculty of Arts and Design, whether you’re planning to study in Canberra or Brisbane.

Partnership with TAFE Queensland

Through our partnership with TAFE Queensland, the ÃÃÍÅÊÓÆµ offers a range of nationally recognised and accredited Bachelor's degrees. 

These courses provide specialised skills for careers in creative roles. You can receive a ÃÃÍÅÊÓÆµ qualification in Digital Design, the Built Environment and the Creative Industries all from the Brisbane South Bank campus of TAFE Queensland.

Contemporary Music Practice and Film Production courses are also available at the TAFE QLD Coomera campus.
